- No, What I was trying to say is it is a lot easier to do this type of a network for an 8,000 square mile country as opposed to one that is 3,615,000 square miles, like ours is... Sorry If I was not clear.

- Phe, I did not say we could not do it - what we need is an ability to conduct electricity at a very efficient rate. The only current way that is possible is with a superconductor. Electric Motors consume HUGE amounts of electricity, even more than incandescent lights.

- It would be nice if we could put OPEC out of business, Once and for all! Art-2543233 is right, though, the USA is too large at the moment. ..... If we could only develop a non-cyrogenic superconductor, then we could have an electric transit network for our country.

- You need both diet and exercise. I would be interested if they made the slurpee in a cola flavor, but there are no 7 elevens in Norfolk, Nebraska. So until then I make do with iced drinks via the blender :)

- I agree. I been told the police in Spain and Germany can be quite rough. Not to mention the the well armed CRS of France, who love to use their submachine guns as a problem solver, and electricity as a way to get answers....

- I do not approve of what the (ex)officer did, but it seems there is something missing from the court proceedings that led to this acquittal. My guess would be the prosecution either bungled the evidence in some way or overcharged the case without the evidence backing it up completely.
